A very special young lady has a birthday this week, so I had to make a couple of cards for her. It is so hard to believe my little girl will be 24 on Thursday. It makes my heart sad but at the same time it makes my heart swell. I could not ask for a better daughter. She is such a sweet caring, loving, wonderful young woman. She goes to school full time, works full time, keeps a lovely home and takes such great care of her husband who is a full time student and her ever so precious puppy dog. I feel so blessed to have her as my daughter I typically use pink when making a girlie b/d card and especially for Brittany but this time I stepped outside the box and used colors I normally don't use. I am sure glad I did too, these pictures do not do the cards justice. The colors are so much prettier in real life.

Animal Book
I finally got around to making something and actually taking pictures and now I'm posting. One of Brittany's dear friends has a little boy and they love going to the zoo. I thought this would be a cute to add some adorable pictures of him in it.

Already November
How could that be possible? It seems like we were just putting away Christmas from last year and here it is time to start thinking about the holidays. Love the holidays but they really don't need to come so quickly each year. Do they?

Birthday Book
Here is a chipboard OWL book I made for a dear friend for her birthday next week. I think she will be very surprised. She and I have known each other since we were approx. 8 years old, so anyone who knows us knows that is a lot of years!!! For the past 20 or so years we have made each others birthday cards. I think this year I might have over done it. I added bling to their eyes, and in all that ribbon there are several charms. Years and years ago she and I got necklace charms that had a broken heart and 1/2 said Be Fri and the other half said St End, I had the Be fri and she had the st end, well i found a charm exactly like the ones we had except smaller, so I put that in there. A lot of fond memories.
It looks like I forgot to add a picture of the second pages....oh well

Baby Shower Invitations
Brittany and her friends are hosting a baby shower for a friend of theirs, I was honored to make the invitations. I had fun making them and I really like the way they turned out. I used my gypsy and cricut and here is what I came up with. Her colors are light pink and purple flowers and butterflies so we wanted to tie it all in.
The butterflies are not adhered yet, Brittany will fill out the correct info and add to the center of the invite (the one on there is just a sample) and then she will add the butterflies.

Another Challenge
Cricut Cardz Challenge.....I really liked this challenge make a teen birthday card using any cartridge or color. As many who know me Pink is my favorite color and my go to color. I used the Forever Young Cart as well. Probably my all time fav cart as well. I decided to use stickles for the sweet sixteen and then added some diamond dust (Stampin UP). I used pop dots to add dimension to the girl, I also used Martha Stewart punch to punch around the pattern paper

Momo's Girly Affair Challenge
Momo's Challenge this week was to make something "Super Girly". So here it is. I used the Once Upon a Princess Cart. I love anything Pink and Girly so this wasn't too hard for me to do. Give me some pink/ribbon/bling/ and I can make something girly.
I used Pop dots to pop the poodle up, and added bling to her collar and bow

Love this card
My favorite or one of my favorite carts is Forever Young, I could make cards with that everyday. I kinda scraplifted this one from Erin (can't remember her last name) and just had to make one similiar to it.

Emma's Throwback Thursday
Here is a card I made for Emma's throwback Thursday an animal theme. Since I don't have the zooballo cart I used a very old cart Celebration. Since I had to make a card for a very sweet 4 year old Diva I thought the pink/black worked perfectly.
